    Wii64 not loading in HBC

    Hello,

I've followed the "Emulator installation guide for consoles" to the T to installing Wii64. However, when i try to load the Wii64 application in the homebrew channel i get a black screen. I've searched the forums for a couple days now for solutions to this problem but i couldn't find anything for this issue. I am currently using 4.1U along with 1.0.8 for HBC. All of my ios's are updated as I also followed the guide to updating Ios's fully. My other emulators appear to be working, it's just this one that's causing me problems. Any help will be much appreciated.

A corrupt IOS36 will cause many apps to load to a black screen or freeze.

Thanks for the reply, i'll run a system check to see if the file is corrupted. If it is, i guess I'll go back to the IOS guide to find a fix.

Update: Here is my information from the system check. I don't believe my IOS36 is corrupted. Could it perhaps be something else?

hmm your IOS should be fine. Maybe make sure you have an updated copy of the emulator. wii64-beta1.1.zip - mupen64gc - Wii64 Beta 1.1 "Honey" - Port of Mupen64 for the Gamecube/Wii - Google Project Hosting

Do you have an SD or SDHC card? not sure if wii64 supports SDHC

    this might be related:
Let me google that for you

I believe i do. I followed the "Ultimate Emulation Guide: Consoles" that is under the sticky thread on the main page. The download link Darkcide666 provides is the same as the emulator link you've provided Shano.

I use an Optima brand SD card. So that can't be the issue. Thanks for the help though. Any other ideas?

    i think Wii64 isn't compatible with HBC 1.0.8

Ah, you are right. I noticed that after i clicked the link you posted but at this point though, i was hoping someone found a way to get it to run. Thanks!

Thanks a lot player!. Just tested it out and it works like a charm. The link you posted should be on a sticky for those that update their hbc to 1.0.8
