Thread: Iso249?

    Iso249?

I'm trying to install WiiFlow's wad with the Wad Manager. When using the Wad Manager I am given the option to choose which ISO to use, but ISO249 is not an option. I've been googling about for the last hour, or so, and haven't been able to find any answer. Any idea what my problem is? Do I need to install ISO249 before using this guide?

If you don't have 249 that's definitely your problem. Do you have any cIOS installed? If not don't plan on USB loading because they are necessary.

To be honest, I don't know what a cIOS is. I just followed this guide and assumed it would at least mention any important steps I would need to do before completing it. I've had my Wii softmodded for a little more than a year, but this is the first time I've ever looked into anything more complicated than using custom content with Super Smash Bros Brawl via GeckoOS. I apologize for the inconvenience of my inexperience.

Sorry about that...I didn't notice the PM until just a few minutes ago and until then I thought there was just a problem processing my post, so I reposted. I didn't mean to seem stubborn or cause any conflict.

you have no cIOS installed, go HERE, go to the section labeled Extra: Install All Recommended cIOS, follow that and it will fix you right up.

edit: It is very apparent that you did not follow a WiiHacks softmod guide, perhaps you would be better served to read the Softmod ANY Wii in my signature and follow it. You can start at the section labeled for systems with Homebrew already installed

When I installed I got this message:
    Code:
final status - 4 did not complete
I checked through the thread but didn't find anyone else who had this problem. Any idea what went wrong?

I doubt I did. I'll start working on it, now.

I haven't actually ripped a game to verify, yet (need to figure out where I stored them...haha), but everything seems to be in order. Thank you very much for your guidance, Desperado.

Also, on a unrelated note, why am I not allowed to edit my posts? Do I need a particular post count in order to earn it, or did I just miss an activation email or something?

Are you overlooking the edit post button to the right of your post? You should be able to edit right from your first post.
