System files are corrupted; Maintenance mode works; Det1re fix doesn't.

I've got the "System files are corrupted" error. Maintenance mode works. Softmodded 4.3u. I've got HBC and loaded the det1re mailbox fix I found on this forum, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

SaveMii - Wii Troubleshooting seems to suggest I use Anytitle Deleter. I can run it, but I'm at a loss as to what file to delete with it. There seem to be conflicting info as to whether this is a "bannerbomb" brick or a "mailbox" brick, so I'm having trouble knowing what to google for.

My young nephew was the last person to use the Wii before it got bricked, so I can't be positive whether anything was installed or updated. Seems like it just randomly started doing this, though.

I guess that's what I have to do. What can be backed up before doing that, and are there any guides to doing so?
