    Hello from Korea

Hello. I am an English teacher in Korea. I've got a Korean wii thats given me tons of trouble since I bought it without researching it.

It sat in my house for a month or too getting no play. Why? You can only get games in Korean here. You can't change the language. It cannot play ANY other non Korean games. I tried to play some games, I memorized the menus et cetera. But it sucked.

I payed a little bit of money and stamered my way through a conversation with a video game guy, and he sent it off to get "fixed." It came back hard modded and able to play back ups.

Its still a little difficult though...

Anyhow. I've been into video games my whole life and I don't know whats wrong with my dad for not also enjoying them. I see myself being old and still upgrading systems and gaming.

Its nice being all "grown up," and not having to wait until Xmas or my birthday to get the latest game. Also I don't have to go to bed if I don't want to. Gaming and being old rock.

thanks ahead of time for all the help with my Korean issues

2009 Wii Serial numbers after LU3884XXXX and LEH2676XXXX have probably got the new D3-2 chip that prevents playing backup DVD's. They can still use original discs and USB loaders.
Check yours at Wii Drive Chip Database
