    Unhappy Few Issues since updating

My Wii has been gathering dust for sometime and decided to bring it out and back into play, as part of doing this I loaded cIOSX rev21 and also Hermes cIOS v5.1.

I proceeded and updated USB Loader GX to version 2, also updating my forwarder.

But now I appear to be suffering problems when trying to use WAD Manager, I get the error mouting device error ret = -1 when trying to select my SD card or USB drive.

I've also started having games randomly freeze.

I would be most greatful if someone good review my syscheck and point me in the right direction.

You probably used the wrong base for cIOS-X Rev 21. And later revisions of this cIOS would benefit from Wad Manager V1.7 to support it as well.

What version of WAD manager are you using? if its just wad manager try either MMM or Dop-Mii. As for the games freezing, try CFG usbloader or rerip your games and see if that works.

Thanks for the quick replys, currently using v1.4 of WAD Manager, but going to update to 1.7 and try that.

I installed cIOS-X Rev 21 using the Custom IOSx Rev 21 Installation Guide and installed it to Slot 249 using IOS56 as base.

Also, Hermes V4 is recommended (at least for 222/223) as opposed to V5.1

right, well WAD Manager 1.7 resolved the issue with the SD card :-)

Will now try re-ripping a couple of my games and see how things go, starting with New Super Mario Bro's and Mario Kart - and will report back later (other half has now taken over the TV).

    Think I'll also go back to Hermes v4 for 222 & 223

As per the Wanin and Hermes cIOS Wads thread i've went with

    Hermes v4
    IOS222 as base 38
    IOS223 as base 37

    Wanin
    IOS249 as base 56 (rev 20)
    IOS250 as base 57 (rev 19)

Everything now appears to be playing as was so will leave everything be for now.

    Cheers
