Deleted some channels for space now USB loader GX won't play games

USB loader GX won't play any of my backups anymore. It loads the list of games fine but when I try to start a game the screen goes black for a while then brings me back into homebrew channel. The only major thing I did before this problem arose was delete some channels, could that be the problem? I deleted the nintendo channel, check mii out, wii store, and everybody votes. Or could it be that my HDD is failing now? I used the "Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!!" guide to mod my wii.

u might have deleted the GX channel, and leaving the GX Forwarder alone and not having the correct GX boot.dol in sd card.
suggest for u to revisit your mentioned hack Guide and find out the missing part.
    good luck

They didn't say they accessed the channel from a forwarder. Reinstall the Shop Channel with DOP-Mii, and move to CFG Loader. Also update your CIOS's and check to see if any were accidentally stubbed or deleted. If can simply be that.

And CFG Loader has most of the functions GX has, along with a bit more compatibility.

Switching to CFG Loader worked. I guess USB loader GX just decided not work anymore. Thanks!
