External hard drive for wii and computer in one go.

Sorry if the opening title is a bit vague, but the question is, is it possible to have my Seagate 1TB external hard drive supply both my computer and my wii at the same time. It is partitioned off into two equal parts, 500gb Wbfs format so as the wii can recognise and play my games through usb loader gx, and 500gb in windows format, ntfs i think it is. As my wii and computer are located very close to eachother it would save my the hassle of having to unplug the external hdd each time depending on what my children wanted to do, ie play on the wii, or use the computer. I thought that because there was too separate partitions, each of different format on the ex hdd, that it could hopefully do both if i was to buy some sort of splitter usb cable that could feed the both of the one source, ie ex hdd. hopefully someone might have an idea. thanks in advance
