Have NAND backup but cant find a guide and also need help !

Right I have a Wii softmodded on 4.1e. It is in my possesion but is a family members. I have switched on the Wii and get the black screen.
I put the contents of original bootmii folder onto sd card, went through bootmii but now have a screen showing :

    << EXIT >>
    [bootmii]
    INSTAL~1.LOG
    key.bin
    nand.bin

Do I just click on nand.bin to restore the nand ?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I have used the search functions with every possible combination of nand related wording and I cant find advice

Thanks in advance for any help given !

Yes I'm 99.9% sure it as I save NAND backups that aren't with an 'I' at the end. And I'm just double checking serial number on the list to be 100%
Just for info this is the first Wii brick I'ver ever had too

I restored a couple of Wii's with Bootmii in Boot2, so let's go over what you're doing exactly.

Normally when you took the backup, you had the sd-card and you need to make sure that you took a backup of

    nand.bin
    keys.bin

But for some reason I always make the whole sd-card files to a .rar file and keep them in a save place. So when I need to restore a Wii after testing something, I place following files on my sd card.

    Folders:
    Bootmii:
    ***Bootmii.ini
    ***armboot.bin
    ***ppcboot.elf
Private (normally not necessary, but it is automaticaly in my rar file)

    and Files:
    keys.bin
    installer.log (not necessary)
bootmini.elf (I don't know if this is necessary)
    boot.elf
    nand.bin

Just all those things in the root of my sd-card.

Then put it in the Wii, and if bootmii is in Boot2, then you should see the Bootmii program starting, the 4 icons in which you need to navigate with the Wii buttons. Then just go to the restore function and follow the correct steps?

Normally that should work, so is it that what you're doing?

    Grtz

Right first of all .... where is the embaressed smiley :S

I've had a little time away from Wii scene and clearly I'm rusty !! I was on Bootmii home screen > SD card and obviously it showed contents of SD card. I should have been going to 4th option then SD card symbol with red arrow.

So sorry for wasting your time guys and thank you so much for helping me choose the right option

I have started the restore now I will keep you posted !
