    problem with usb mic games

Im having a tough time getting my microphone to work. I have followed the guides for hermes v4 as well as v5 and have had no luck. I initially did v5 because that was the first guide I found, but I used any title delete to remove and reinstalled with v4 as recommended.
Everything looks like it loads fine no errors during install, i had to perform off-line install because of issue getting a file , i followed the instructions provided for offline install and it worked fine.

When I try to load the game from within the loader using ios223 in usbloaderGX it core dumps the system and then reloads the homebrew menu. When I attempt with configurable usb loader it just freezes and I have to hold in the power button to reset.

I have included as much info I could think of below. Any help would be appreciated.

Games im attempting to get working : RapStar, Boogie, High School musical. I have tried 222,223 and 224 for all of these and I get the same results.

    Homebrew: 1.0.8

i successfully installed IOS58 as recommended. i need to look through the guides, not sure how i missed that. Still have the same issue with current USB loaders.

When i try to load usbloaderGX 2.0 it has trouble reading my hd. Before i spending time looking into that is is necessary to be on 2.0 for this to work?

    Thanks for the help.

No it is not necessary to use v2.0, but why wouldn't you? It is the latest release, has bug fixes, and is compatible with the newer cIOS's.

When you install v2.0 it has to be a fresh install... USB Loader GX v2.0 Released!

Ok. So i got usbloaderGX 2.0 working. The issue was with my hard drive having another partition that i was not aware of when i had used it on my 64bit Mac. i removed the partition, reformated and re-installed all games using wbfs manager.

So i still have the issue where the games freeze up when attempting to play with IOS 222, 223 or 224.
looks like i might be playing these games the good ole fashion way.

Boogie will not work with a usb loader because it reloads is own IOS (Boogie Superstar will work with usb loaders). Rapstar boots with IOS224, Highschool Musical will boot with IOS223. Not only do you need to install those cIOS's, you need to go into the game setting of each of those games and set the game to boot with those IOS's.

IOS58 is not used by usb loaders, only a cIOS is used by usb laoders.
