Should i take the update?
My wii is 4.1u and is hard modded and soft modded. Some new games like donkey kong country returns and Michael Jackson experience want to update the console. Is it safe to do these updates? I have played the games using neogamma and they play but I would like to play normally if the update is not dangerous to my mods. Anyone have any idea how safe the update is?

No, it's never safe to update. You obviously did not install priiloader when you softmoded.Add Priiloader to 4.1U or 4.1E or 4.2U or 4.2E, 0.5 (r99)
Do NOTupdate! Install priiloader and block online and disc updates
with the system menu hacks!
EDIT: Beat me to it skell!
Can someone tell me how to install priiloader? Which version do I need, where can I get it and how to do it? Thanks.
Look at the guide skell linked you to!
Well I have priiloader 0.6 which is a zip file with 2 folders inside. Where do I put them on the SD card? In the wad folder? Or at the root? Then what do I do? How do I do the install?
I also have IOS60-patched.wad and System Menu USA -NUS-v449.wad. Do I need all these things? Please explain how to install the priiloader. I have read the link from skell but I cannot find straightforward instructions. Should I also update my neogamma R8 b7 and the USB Loader GX r815?

Put priiloader in the Apps folder of the SD card and run it from the Homebrew channel, then follow the instructions. it installs fast.
Do you mean that I should put the zipped file in the apps folder? Or just the priiloader folder from the zipped file? I just noticed that the apps folder has priiloader 0.2 in there I should throw that out as well right?
I put the 0.6 priiloader folder in the apps folder and installed in the home brew channel some errors occurred in yellow but it then said complete but it does not still block game update nags. I also did the same with the 0.4 priiloader with the same result no blocking of update nag. How can I tell if priiloader is installed and active?
Hold Reset while powering on the Wii, and Priiloader will load.

Go into Priiloader and select 'System Menu Hacks'. Press A to select the hacks you want, but don't select a certain hack if you don't know what it does (A Hack like Easy Recovery Menu Access should be avoided unless needed, for example).
EDIT: Try to stay on the latest Priiloader as well.
