Make sure you are using WiiMC 1.1.1, and install this channel - download here. You should get your USB HDD recognized on either USB port.

No Luck, it just added a channel, so I don't have to goto Homebrew to launch the app.
It still won't recognize the USB thumb drive. I know the drive is good because it worked with this app before I did the softmod update.
Any other suggestions?
If you used that channel I provided and you still cannot see the USB HDD, then your dirve is not setup correctly, or it is not compatible. Don't forget, select the icon in the upper left corner that relates to the type of file you are trying to view. Another thing you could try, do a fresh install of WiiMC and see if that fixes things. I just went and checked my WiiMC, I have a WBFS usb hdd pluggeg into usb port0 and another WBFS/FAT32 usb hdd plugged into port1 and I can browse my FAT32 partition that is plugged into usb port1. I would check into your usb hdd being the problem.
Your sysCheck was incomplete, I couldn't see which IOS's were patched.

Ok, I went ahead and tried a different thumb drive, sandisk cruzer, and it worked after adding the file you suggested. I really don't know why the other one worked before and now it doesn't. I am going to reformat it and try again.
Bottom line is that wad file did the trick, and this problem has been resolved.
Thanks again, all efforts appreciated!
