Every electronical device stopped out of nowhere...

Holy... So, I was playing Mario Kart Wii, and then all of a sudden, the lights, the Wii itself, the television, mobiles, the internet, and everything thing else shut down. Nothing would turn on again, and then after a minute or so, everything that stopped turned on again. Haha, I've never experienced such a thing. What could it be? XD
And no, it wasn't my imagination. Accoring to my brother, who was playing on the 360 with friends, this happened to everybody in our city. Everybody went offline the exact same moment, and nobody's mobile would turn, just like ours.

You would think that everything connected to the outlet would turn off, not mobiles.

Some type of blackout/brownout? We had a huge one on the East Coast several years ago that lasted a few days.
