    Have No Clue Anymore

I've been ignoring the Wii Hack scene for a while and I'm kind of confused now.
Is there any IOS's I should remove or UPDATE? I've looked at tutorials, but I seriously don't where to start.
Where can I check for new CIOS updates and new MIOS updates?

Another one I need to know is whether it's possible to change the region of the Wii completely to Japanese. (Japanese shop channels, menus, disc regions, pretty much everything.)

Also, what HDD backup loader is the best one to boot backups from a FAT32 drive?
I've been using WBFS with USB Loader GX and it seems to have problems ripping games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

And most of all, which is the latest version I could update my Wii to?

Sorry for asking a pile of questions, but I really need to know all of this stuff.

I ran sysCheck, so I know which IOS's I've installed.

You have some pretty out of date IOS's. I made a guide for updating them recently, look in my sig. I suggest you use the Update All IOS.zip pack.

249 should be updated to rev17, but other than that your cIOS's are okay. If you want a full cIOS setup, you can extract both Hermes cIOS Wads.zip and Waninkokos cIOS Wads.zip to the wad folder while following my guide. It will install them along with the other IOS's.

You should use Softmod ANY wii by mauifrog or the guide linked in my signature...

    Look into any region changer

reason you cant rip ssbb is due to cios rev14 it had a dual layer bug which was fixed in 17+

By following either my or Cile's advice. You would probably be better off following Cile's, as the Softmod ANY Wii guide covers more stuff, and the cIOS wads that I linked to are also included in that guide. Once you are done, I still suggest you follow my Update All Your IOS's guide. However, you will only need to use the Update Game IOS.zip pack after mauifrog's guide.
