Making Wii Virgin Problem Downgrading
Good day everyone.
I followed Dogeggs's tutorial; http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...ii-virgin.html , and while using the cios downgrader 1.2 mentioned, it said everything completed without error. I then restarted the Wii with the program using the home button, but it freezed while doing this. I then just shut down the Wii, since everything completed fine with the installs, and I got a Black Screen upon startup, not booting up at all.
Do you know what might be the problem or thing I've overlooked, and a solution to fix it?
I have a PAL Wii (Europe), and also looked to see if I could downgrade.
The following Serial Numbers are the ones that can't be downgraded;
LU64+ (USA), LEH250+ (EUROPE) or LAH113+.
My serial Number starts with LEF12+, so I do not know what I could've done wrong.
Also, to my knowledge my firmware was 4.1.
I would really appreciate your help, and hope it can be resolved.
Thanks by advance.

Moved to the bricked section. BootMii --- IOS install or Boot2? NAND: backed up, or not? Priiloader: installed or not installed? Did you try to power on the Wii and hold down on the reset button to see if Priiloader loads? You need to provide greater information than this if you want help. I hope you weren't following that guide as a solution to a failed softmod attempt...
Sorry for my lack of information, and thanks for moving it.
I've already tried everything as to use the main means to fix my Wii.
Bootmii was installed as IOS, so that's not a big help.
I had Priiloader installed, but due to the downgrade, Priiloader doesn't work for whatever reason, so I can't boot it that way either.
It also seems a few others in that thread have the same problem as me. I know this is irrelevant, but with this at least I can see there's a problem with something, not just me.
And no, I didn't fail in softmodding it. It all worked fine, no problem. I just wanted to clean the Wii though by using the tutorial, resulting into this.
Sorry if I missed out on more things you might need to know.

(just a side issue about bootmii reinstallation)
i encountered a case like this........
With the SD card (ie. BootMii, nand.bin, key.bin are resided), the console was able to get into NAND Re-install menu.
When doing the NAND restore, I was prompted:
Restore Wii NAND ID: kkkkkkkk
BootMii found in boot2. Ok to proceed.
Dump is for different Wii.
Once again, if you are really
SURE you want to do this, KONAMI
Otherwise, press [Z] to give up.
Try harder Hashimoto-San
Try harder Hashimoto-San
-- the sentenceTry harder Hashimoto-San repeats as I hit the GC controller button !
I just can’t complete the NAND Re-install with it’s nand backup files.
My question-1 is : what’s wrong with the NANDBackup files, as it was originally made during the softmod ??
Not trying to be rude or anything, but shouldn't you post a question regarding problems in a new thread, instead of putting it in mine?
As for your problem, I'm not very experienced with it, but while making a backup you didn't happen to see too many black blocks between the green ones right?
Still, I'd recommend to make a new thread so that the people of this community will respond to the problem sooner.
I've also tried to look for info on your issue, yet I found nothing useful, sorry.

So basically the Wii is messed up now and all I can do is either use the IOS to restore, buy a SaveMii dongle (Since the Frii one didn't work), or buy a new Wii?
Btw the tutorial is down now, thanks whoever did it, though It's unfortunate that it was removed a tad late. (For me at least. :/)
savemii wont work either.
do you have a nand backup?
