My usb Hardrive is not recognize.

Hello, I did 4.3 softmod guide on my wii
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...mod-guide.html

and I also turned my Harddrive into FAT32.

When I try to use Configurable USB Loader, it goes for 30 seconds and it doesn't detect my Harddrive.

I checked the compatibility list, and my Seagate Expansion 500 GB Harddrive was there, so I don't know whats the problem

Silly question but do you have it plugged in to the bottom port of the Wii (as it is laying down)?

I have tried on both ports, but neither of them work.

    1. Plug in the drive.
    2. Go into HBC.
    3. Press 1
    4. See if the USB option is selectable. If it is then you can test further by creating an apps folder on your hard drive and place any Homebrew app in it as see if you can get it to run. just as you would using an SD card.

I've got an similar issue. My kid was playing Sonic just recently on CFG usb-loader and all was working fine. When he reseted the wii to play a new game the wii doesnt recognize the hdd anymore. I've tried to plug it in and out again and i've shut down our wii but it still doesn't find it. Does anyone know what problem we might experience?

Nah, thats not the problem, the problem is Configurable USB loader or any other USB loader not recognizing my Harddrive.
