Hey guys, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place (or site) to ask for help, so if I'm breaking any rules, please delete this thread immediately, I don't wanna cause trouble.
So, my problem is: after a short blackout while I was playing Okami, my wii just won't turn on. The red light doesn't even appear. I bought a new ac adapter today (note it's not original) and the red light appeared. However, when I got home and pressed the power button, the disc drive flashed in blue and everything shut down, including the red light.
I am really desperate, and would like to know if an original ac adapter would fix my problem, or if there's still how to fix it, or if (I really hope not) I definetly lost it, just before Xmas.
Please, any advice or reply is welcome.

Well, the symptons you describe are probably caused by a hardware issue. It could be that your original AC adapter is broken and that the new one doesn't provide enough power. I would try borrowing one of a friend. Also, try another power outlet. I one time had a problem with my pc, but later I discovered the power outlet was broken in a very strange way.
Awesome sig picture does not work
