Ca Problem installing Internet Channel through Shop Channel or Wad Manager - ideas?

    Hey Guys,

I seem to be having issues installing the internet channel all together. I have a 4.3U softmodded (followed the guide on this site) and it works great for everything else. I used the HBC browser to download Opera and when I tried to open it through HBC it launched the Shop Channel so I can download Internet Channel.

It all seems fine while downloading but then like 2/3s of the way through I get an error (#200004 error - which according to Wii the site is down but I'm sure that's not it). I know it's not an issues with my wifi because I've used this box for FTP etc and it works fine.

I then thought maybe it was because it was loading through HBC so I started from original Wii boot and launched the internet channel to download there but same behavior and error.

My next step was to try it through Multi-Mod-Manager 13.4. I went to Manage Wii Channels (using Loaded IOS249 v17)
and it looked fine at first

Installing North America (U) - Internet Channel

    Getting Ticket...
    Getting Title...
    Getting Content 12/13

And then it stopped there (over and over again) saying "Installation aborted due to errors."

I also downloaded some random WADs from the internet hoping it would work to install them through the WAD manager
    -internet-ntsc.wad
    -Opera.Browser.NTSC-U.Wii-wiivc.wad

but when I install these (using WAD Manager); they both fail the installation with

    Title (-1035)
    #Final Status - 1 did not complete.

So I read around and 1035 is supposed to be a corrupt IOS or something of the sort so I was worried; but the thing is all other WADs install fine through it.. I've reinstalled other WADs (such as new USB loaders etc) to check it they install without issue.

Does anybody have any ideas what could be going on? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    J

You can run a system check and if any wads are corrupt it will pick it up.

I'm no expert on the subject but maybe it has something to do with your Failcorp install?

I followed the 4.3 guide (Optional- DARKCORP installation); do you think this is the issue? Why would this cause such an issue?

    Thanks for your help guys

Try using wad manager 1.7, i encounter a similar problem an i finally get to install the wads with it. Also check that the wads are the most recent because there are 2 diferent internet channels i was trying to install the old one and it didn't work.

    Hey,

I tried WAD Manager 1.7 and the same issues with the Opera WAD and the internet channel wad
-Installing title.... ERROR! (ret = -1035).

Where did you get the internet channel wad from? Maybe I have the one that doesn't work?

    Thanks!

Have a look in my signature for Channels and Ios' as wads (look below)

Plus your cios 222 wants to be Hermes V4 not IOS222 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, ES_Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
