Hey all, I'm killeroy_nl, and since it's not hard to guess what my real name is, I might as well tell you, it's Roy. I live in Europe, in Holland/the Netherlands to be exact.
I've always been a fan of nintendo's systems, I just found it more fun (and fair) than pc-gaming, although I did a little of that too. We never really had the money to get good pcs, and as such, games ran slowly, lagging, etc. We once found a classic gameboy in a store, and after playing around with it (Kid Icarus was in there) and a friend's gameboy pocket, I saved up for a gameboy color, and since then bought pretty much every handheld that came out (only exception is gameboy micro I suppose, oh, and DSi XL).
Console-wise, I started out (before birth?) with a NES. My mom played on it while pregnant of me, and this (I think) gave me a feeling like I remembered when I started playing it. She apparently played a lot of MegaMan 2, and somehow this is my favorite game. What a coincidence! Anywho, like I said before, we didn't have a lot of money, and since I was saving up for handhelds, I pretty much skipped the Super NES and N64. My grandma had a SNES though, so I played that (F-Zero, Super Metroid, Tetris Attack) a lot when I was at hers.
At some point, we got a gamecube as a birthday present for me and my brother (though our b-days aren't on the same day :P), and with it came Pokémon Colosseum ('twas a bundle). From that point, I'm pretty much up to speed when it comes to gaming (well, the nintendo side at least.). Now I (obviously) have a Wii, and a DSi, and am eagerly awaiting the 3DS. Aaaaand I suppose that's it for now :3 Want to know anything else, just lemme know :P
