Thread: I need a homebrew channel!

  1. #1

Angry I need a homebrew channel!

I bought a modded 4.3E-wii with some kind of modchip and this thing doesn't have a homebrew channel. How can I get a HBC to this thing and is there any easier ways to do it than pulling the chip out and buying a Lego Indy?
I don't even know which chip does this thing have and I'm not going to check it due to lack of instruments, I just want to get that damn HBC to make my games working like they should

Im afraid 4.3 system menu needs you to buy a game like indy to use the exploit to install HB. There is no other way at the moment.

Edit - also you can have a softmod and hardmod together.

Well, I quess I'll just have to buy it but sadly I don't have any money atm, I used everything to buy a bunch of blank DVDs.

I don't know anybody who has a wii so it could be kinda difficult. Is it possible to have softmod and modchip in same wii at a time or do I need to buy the screwdrivers too to remove the modchip?

I don't have any other channels than the official ones that can be downloaded from wii shop for free. I contacted old owner of this wii and he said that it has a Wasabi solderless DX-modchip and right now I'm burning a copy of indiana jones (Don't worry, I'm going to buy it when I get money and if this works, I promise! I have good morale and I don't want any problems) so I could try to softmod this with a burned copy of indiana jones with modchip installed.

"The device inserted in the SD Card Slot cannot be used.", Looks like my Kingston 2gb SD-card isn't good enough for my wii and modding failed again. Actually, I have never modded anything without problems and it doesn't feel nice.
