    console info

I bought this wii a yr ago and never used the usb. I know I have 4.2u menu. I have tried bannerbomb i think it was called and i also tried other. But I cant get anywhere because the usb wont read. I have tried installing the jump drive and then turned it on, then click on the usb icon. Says nothing there, tried other usb slot same thing. Tried putting it in, turning it on and then go through the options data management and usb, same thing.

Your wii has a usb icon?? I think I am going to have to go look at mine right now because I don't recall ever seeing that.

It sounds like you need to follow a guide on this site to complete a successful softmod. I recommend the softmod any wii link in my signature.

edit: I think you must mean SD because (unless I am retarded ) I cannot find any usb icon on MY wii. Did you format your SD card to fat32?

OK I think I got everything done as in your tutorial. The only problem I have is I have 2 Homebrew Icons on my wii page, no big deal. Now where do I go to find out how to make bakeups of my disks and set them up on an external drive. I saw something about USB Loader GX would that work?

if your using usb loader gx its real easy just load usbloader gx and put the disc in and it will pop asking if you want to rip hdd
