does it only happen when you play games from a usb hard drive?
I'd like to ask if anyone here can help me. I've observed this strange issue only recently since I've bought a HDD and started playing my games off of it using Cfg USB Loader v60 using IOS249 to load games.
The issue is as follows: When Pressing a button on my Wiimote during a game it gets registered twice (as though i've pressed the button twice quickly). I've observed this in multiple games so far but not before I started playing them from a HDD.
An example: While playing Brawl, if i pause the game i can never unpause it because when i do try to return to the game and click "+", it registers as two button presses and it re-pauses instantly. I've also noticed it while browsing through brawl trophies, i press "next" and it registers as two button presses as if i pressed nnect twice
Has anyone had this issue before? does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
NOBODY has any advice or any idea about what might be causing this????
Should i just return my Wii to a virgin state and reinstall all softmods/usb loaders??
Try wiiflow might help
500gig seagate wbsf (to lazy to change)
@bristoljay : I recently got Wiiflow working (after some trouble, I had to set my FAT drive to primary) - - - - Wiiflow had the same double button press issue
I tried starting brawl in Wiiflow using IOS249 then IOS222 and in both cases I had the issue
So the problem is common between Wiiflow and Cfg USB Loader, I'm thinking the loaders themselves aren't the problem - - - - Are there any IOS experts in the house?? (I have no idea if an IOS might be the cause of the problem as I have no idea what an IOS is or what is does)
I've never heard of such a thing so I'm just throwing ideas out. Maybe it's something with the remote itself? Have you tried to see if the same thing happens to a second remote synced to your Wii?
So what's the difference between loading a game through the disk channel and loading it through a USB loader?? Isn't it the same basic game??
I'd like to first get to a clean (virgin) 4.X state, then install the softmods all over again. Where would you recommend I start?
NOTE: My Wii used to be NTSC-J (japanese system menu), does that matter at all when updating?
