    Playing .wbfs Files without converting

    I have 2 questions:

    1) Is it possible to play .wbfs files without converting as I only have a 4GB USB so Im trieng to smaller the size. If it is possible what loader do I need to use and what format, etc.

    2) Also, does WBFS Manager convert the ISO to a WBFS while trnasferring a game from my PC to the USB. So does it make a difference on a .wbfs size and the size on a WBFS Partition USB.

I have USB Loader GX and Neogamma V7 (i think) and I have Configurable USB Loader on my apps folder on my SD card but haven't installed it.

Format USB drive to FAT and create a wbfs folder in it and then place the game folder inside the wbfs folder OR you can let Wii Back Up Manager do this for you.

See Above. Use Wii Backup Manager

    See my notes in bold.

Yes, but honestly, I would just format the USB drive as FAT, then run Wii Backup Manager and it will create the folder for you. You Add files to Wii Backup Manager then you "transfer" them to your USB drive.

The above will move .wbfs to the USB, convert ISO to .wbfs and also convert .ciso to .wbfs to your USB drive.

Hope you got it sorted out OP.

However, I think it should be noted that WBFS is a format that is for the Wii only, and not to be confused by any computer formats like FAT32 or NTFS. Once you format your drive to this format, it's the Wii that owns it and not your computer.....although the interface software to run it on your computer is WBFS Manager. WBFS Manager is exactly that....a Wii file manager to manage your Wii games. I.e. a program that allows you to copy over any 'Iso' game on your computer over to the Wii format to then play via a USB loader on your Wii once the process has been completed.

Can I use USB Loader GX for this? I get an error when I formatted it to FAT when I loaded it on USB Loader
