• IOS224 v5.1
• cIOSX Rev19 - Rev20 - Rev21

Follow THIS guide if you need to install one of the cIOSes.
• Configurable USB Loader: Highlight Sonic Colours -> Press 1 -> Set IOS to the cIOS you plan to use -> Press 2 to save

• cIOS38 Rev14 - Rev17
• cIOSX Rev19 - cIOSX Rev20 - cIOSX Rev21

The game should work by default using NeoGamma. If you don't have any of the cIOSes, follow a softmod guide.

Installing IOS56-v5662

Important:
Install Priiloader first and block disc updates to prevent the game from updating your Wii.
Follow this guide.

Note:
If you are on firmware 4.2 or 4.3, you can skip this and play the game.

1. Download this pack and extract everything inside to the root of your SD Card.
2. Click on the Wii-icon at the bottom-left corner, open Data Management > Wii > Channels > SD Card and boot Multi-Mod Manager by clicking on Yes.
3. Open WAD Manager and you should see a WAD called IOS56-64-v5662 on your screen.
4. Install it by pressing A.
5. Once the installation is done, exit Multi-Mod Manager.
6. Select Sonic Colours from your WODE or insert the back-up and have fun!

What to do if the game still doesn't work?

• Try to use Verbatim DVD-R media for the best results
• Try to dump the game with CleanRip using your original copy and burn it with your favourite program at the lowest writing speed possible
Cool, but this game works with cIOS222 and 223 v4 so you might want to add that. Also works with base 56 and cIOSx Rev 19 0r 20. Probably also works with cIOS38 Rev 17. So you can just set your loader to use 222 or 223 and your done (softmod).

Hello,

just testing sonic under Cios38 rev 17 (wiiflows default Cios), got the game working but blackscreen when i try to play a level from map.

Worste with the tutorial under wiflow, with cios 250 (rev20b), game laks sound on the map or same error, can't acces level from map.

Works great with disk backup and original.

EDIT:

Try to install and use Hermes' IOS222/223 v4 (not v5 or v5.1) and see if that makes any difference. Try both of 'em, and not only 222.

I get a black screen using both 222 and 223, using usbloadergx. every other game I have got works, but not this.

Is there a way I can get a readout of exactly what cisos's and things are installed on my wii?

You can use an application called sysCheck. Post the results here.
But first, try setting the game's language to English, and try all video modes.

Hi, i got the same problem as Dean apparently. I get the black screen when using both Wiiflow and USB Loader GX. If i use the Config USB Loader i get some error before it even loads while using 222 or 223.

Been trying to get this to work and it's getting pretty frustrating so i hope i can find a solution to this problem <_< i am currently using a Kingston 4 GB USB if that helps. Oh and just did this syscheck on the Wii, here's the report i got after picking IOS249:-

"SysCheck v2.01 by Double_A

Run on IOS36 (rev 3094)

Region: NTSC-U
System Menu: 4.DU (v417)
Hollywood v0v11
Console ID: 69796263
Boot2 v2

Found 66 titles.
Found 33 IOS on this console. 8 of them are stub.

IOS249(rev 17): Trucha bug, ES identity, NAND Access, USB 2.0"

Help greatly appreciated!
