    Black screen boot brick

I bricked a 4.1u wii. It now only boots to a blackscreen

I installed homebrew using bannerbomb, and installed bootmii (as an ISO was only option), I created a nand file and then i follow a tutorial and did this

    a) Go to Homebrew channel and run Trucha Bug Restorer, load IOS36, press 1, read the warnings then select 'downgrade IOS15', select to load IOS from SD card then let it do its job, keep an eye on what it is doing and make sure you select 'load from sd card' when it asks & don't get any errors.

    b) Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, this time select to load IOS15 on first screen using dpad left/right, then select the IOS36 menu & install patched (select 'yes' on all 3 patches) IOS36 to slot 36, again using IOS from SD card.

    c) Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, load IOS36 and this time select restore IOS15.

    d) Run cIOS38 r17 installer, select IOS36 as the one it should use and then select wad install.

after that i patched using IOS60patched.wad, I then installed priiloader.

I then proceded to use a downgrader to goto 3.2u wii, it all finished with out errors and then frooze on saying "restarting"

After a bit of not restarting I hard reset figure something went wrong, and i was right, boots to a black screen.

I held reset while booting but am unable to get to priiloader screen, did it get deleted when i downgraded?

I tried making my own savemiifrii, using a GC controller but am having no luck getting it to boot.

Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks

And which Wiihacks tutorial told you to downgrade to 3.2? The answer: none. Worst case, you can have someone (Erikie, DeadlyFoez, or Bad_Ad84) reprogram your NAND with your NAND backup. It won't be free, but far cheaper than buying a new Wii.

i down graded to 3.2u as i have done before on others, I was always told it was the safest wii menu system, does it matter why I did it, not really... all the matters is how and what can be done.
    but thanks for ur suggestions

Um, yes it matters why --- your end result is proof enough, no? We support our own guides, not ones that have you end up with a bricked Wii. Erikie is in the Netherlands, DeadlyFoez the USA, and Bad_Ad84 in the UK. StreamlineHD is also in the USA and could restore your Wii. Good luck and stop needlessly downgrading and bricking Wiis.

That's pretty much your only option since you downgraded to a stub ios.

System menu 3.2 runs on ios30-v1040. IOS30-v1040 does not function properly on newer wii, resulting in full bricks when installed as the system ios. FYI- if you dead set on downgrading, Install ios60-v6174 into the ios slot used by your desired system menu. Doing this will give you full support for system menu's 1.0-4.3+.
FYI #2, there is no longer any advantage to running system menu 3.2. Any such opinion is dated and misinformed. 4.1 is the system menu of choice.

Send it out for nand reprogramming. It cost less than $50 and is your only option.

ty once again, to everyone, I only liked to because I like to run the games directly from disc channel and i guess thats the system menu i am use to doing it to, I will keep this in mind in future mods,
