Sonic Riders ZG Problem
I read somewhere that I may be missing an IOS, but I didn't really understand it.
BUT, my problem is that my back up of Sonic Riders ZG doesn't run (Black Screen in all 3 of my loading channels).
When I scrubbed my iso on the PC, it said it had an update partition, is that why it won't load? Cause my Wii has Priiloader and it blocks that out lol.
If the IOS thing is correct, what IOS am I missing? I've never had this problem with any game, except Punch-Out (Which was a bad burn, and now it works perfectly)
If you play a game via a back-up loader, it only asks for cIOS. What cIOS do you have?
You might want to try setting the game's language to English, and changing the video settings to either 50Hz or 60Hz (try both).
Not really sure, and since my bro is watching TV I can't really check, and as far as the other stuff, I have played around with those settings, like NTSC480i, English, stuff like that.
But for the cIOS, would updating a cIOS work? I bet it would, because that's what I did for SSBB, i think it was cIOS xx rev 17 or something like that, I'll check A.S.A.P
That is odd. Rev17 should work properly with Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity -- at least it did for me when I played it.
What did you use to dump your game? It might be a bad ISO.
cIOS Rev 17, but which cIOS was it? The one I installed is apparently cIOS38
And I dumped the ISO twice and burned them on 4 different DVDs at 2x twice and 4x twice, and I sort of gave up and now I'm here lol
This was a no-problem game for me, so I am lost already. Too bad I don't know what IOS this game uses, as updating that IOS seems like the only thing you can do.
I bet, because I also have a modchip (which came with the Wii), so games that don't work on the disc channel usually work on the loaders, so a correct IOS would fix a Disc Channel I suppose, any opinions on this?
You got that right.
Loading games through the Disc Channel asks for the original IOS, and not for a cIOS. Loading games through NeoGamma, however, asks for a cIOS.
The chance that the game will work with your modchip after updating the specific IOS is pretty good. But which IOS is it? I can't find the game in the Which IOS Games Use To Run thread...
Of course, thank you thank you! I totally forgot about that thread! I have the ISO on my PC, I'll try to find it with Scrubber and download it via NUSD when i get back from work! Thank you I seriously totally forgot about that thread! Lol a spasm xD
I installed IOS21-64-v514, and it didn't work )= Any other suggestions?
