one works, another one is not. guide needed

basically there 2 wiis at my possession both are ntsc-j (one is mine another is my neighbor's). i got some games with me that i backed up with dvd-r, good burned. ie: tiger 2011, smg2, and u-sing -girls night out- (niece's hehe, just trying to check if mic will work).

    1. is soft modded 4.1u, english menu etc
    2. is 4.2j, is in japanese

4.2j cannot play disc by the disc channel. but via neogamma, r8 beta 7, ios249 rev14) every single game you throw at it works including 3 i mentioned before. whereas my 4.1u doesn't detected quite of few new games including those 3 above, even neogamma r9 says its not detecting any dvd insterted.

here is the ios of my 4.1u
