    Question Need Help : How to Get USB2 on soft moded system menu 4.0U

    Hi All,

    I read a lot of tutorials before getting thoroughly confused on what should i be doing to get the USB2 support for my WII which is already softmoded with system menu 4.0U:

    Here is the sysCheck i did on my WII console:

    Your softmod looks outdated, like you did it from another site. Stick with this site and you'll be fine in the future.
    I would just redo your softmod by following the softmod any wii guide in my sig, then you'll be all set up.
    No need to delete anything, just start from step one and everything will overwrite.

    Thanks for the reply, i am trying to redo the mod, but i am stuck at the following step:

    Install Bootmii as Boot2(boot2 may not be available, IOS installs automatically) (for this i see Can only be installed as an IOS. The installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2))

    Any idea what should i do. I tried using the MMM to display boot2 info, it is asking me to install and patch ios36.....

    Is it something good to do?

    Please let me know.

    according to your syscheck you have ios36 installed and patched. If the installer can install it as boot2 it will give you that option, if not then IOS is your only option.
