A question about softmodded Wii and original GC games

Let's say I buy Gamecube games that aren't from the same region as my softmodded Wii.

If I use neogamma to play them, Will I encounter the same problems typical to GC DVD backups running on neogamma/other GC backup loaders (missing streamed sound, freezing, etc.)?

The region of your Wii system does not matter. But loading through NeoGamma will still cause soundissues, even though it's an original game.

Does not matter = NTSC-U games playable on PAL console without having to use a hombrew loader?

With ''doesn't matter'', I meant that with the use of a back-up loader, it doesn't matter if you boot a PAL game or an NTSC game, as long as you force the videosettings properly.

I do not know if Priiloader's hack ''REGION FREE EVERYTHING'' also works with GameCube games... It works for Wii games through the Disc Channel. If the hack does work for GaemCube games, you can play out-of-region GameCube games through the Disc Channel.

Thanks for informing me about the Priiloader hack, I did not know that.
If anyone knows if it applies to GC games from different regions, Feel free to post.

I've fully region changed my Wii to USA to test this out. I only own PAL GameCube games, so enabled the hack, put in a GameCube game, but all I got was a black screen.
I've tried installing BC and MIOS again twice, I then installed cMIOS from both Waninkoko and WiiGator, but no luck. So, no, the Priiloader hack does not work with out-of-region GameCube games.
I've changed my Wii back to PAL and now all the games work again.
