    Hard turning off your wii can it mess up?

    Hi i had a question, sometimes when im playing a game or its rare the case but it
    freezes up so i hold the power button about 15 seconds or so and i turn it off
    i had done this many times like 10 times, my question is can this mess up your wii
    or harm it holding the power button to shut it down

    Depends when. It shoudn't during gameplay. If you do it during an update, you could brick your Wii. If done while running homebrew, it can corrupt files on the SD card.

    Well it was an iso that was bad you know it had been ripped bad, so the game kept freezing on me so that was the question is it bad in this case
    i deleted the iso already that was the only game that gave me problems

    I would try to avoid doing it whenever possible. I understand if it is froze you have no choice. As with any electronic device I try to shut ours down with the Wiimote or via HBC/shutdown to avoid any spindown or damage to the HDD.
