Angry Sick Of Hours Of Mindless Tutorial Following; Help Me Finally Get Everything Working!

Once upon a time, I could play any disc or Wiiware backup that I threw at my Wii (via Neogamma). Now since some time has passed since I last messed with the console, the system menu's been updated several times and a jillion more ios's I have to know about have been added to the mix, so I'm suffering back to back issues with trying to get stuff to work, and I don't know whether I'm making the situation better or worse by doing tutorial after tutorial on what "might" get it to work (because truthfully I'm lost).

Before anyone asks: yes, I have Google searched this and that website for hours, along with searching this forum (and others) on the subject for keywords of terms that could help me out, and read through and followed suggestions in various posts liberally. I honestly progressed with nothing but getting myself more confused, because it seems that there are tons of factors to deal with, so I finally just gave in and decided to ask the experts directly.

I know you'll probably ask for a ton of info, so I'll go ahead and throw some things out there that may help; my current system menu version is up to 4.2U (was initially about 4.0U I think, before I followed tutorials to get it up to there in hopes that would help at all). If it's of any relevance, the console's serial number is LU62780795. I've installed too many ios's and apps to keep track of what version's what and what exactly I've done, so you'll have to ask for those specifically.

The disc backups I've failed at getting to work were burned at 2x on Verbatim DVD-R media (and yes, several older disc backups work with the same method). Specific games and their errors are as follows:

Pokemon Battle Revolution - Directly after the white wiimote screen, freezes on a black screen that says "The game Disc could not be read. Please refer to your Wii Operations Manual for more information."

Kirby's Epic Yarn - No white wiimote screen, immediately freezes on a blue screen that says "Error #002 An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions."

A couple of new Wiiwares I've attempted to install via Waninkoko's WAD Manager 1.5 also refuse to work (while all my old Wiiwares I had previously installed still work just fine). Both of these Wiiwares return the same problem (the titles are UNO and Bit.Trip Runner - even though other Bit.Trip titles are included among those that already work). After installing either one of them and returning to the system menu, I get an inescapable message saying "Wii System Memory is Full" and 0 blocks are left, which is strange because I have enough free blocks to support those games; only deleting the newly installed channels will restore all the blocks I had remaining before and get rid of this error.

All I want to know is what I need to install or what tutorials I need to follow (or any workarounds for those specific games), so that both Wiiware/disc backups will work up through the latest game releases without having to worry about expecting this or that error.

(Also an unrelated note, is there any way my nickname can be changed on this board? I hate using my real name on public forums but I used the Facebook login instead of just signing up with my email and now I can't change it.)

So instead of reading and researching a little more on the forum, you want someone to hold your hand and spoon feed you the information you need? Wow, great first post, good luck...

It would be helpful if you could post a syscheck.

Call it whatever you want; sorry I prefer not to waste all my spare time studying the topic in-depth.

Your ios36 isn't patched and neither is your ios70. Also ios249 (aka cios38revXX) is rev20 which has a problem or two, I would suggest rev17. You can fix all of this by going through the 4.2 guide in my sig, or the softmod any wii guide by mauifrog again. Be careful about blindly messing with ios's. That's a very easy way to brick when you aren't following a guide and playing guess and check.
