    Hey, WiiHacks!

    Hello everyone,

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you who have wrote some amazing guides here on WiiHacks; they are all really helpful and very clear, so thumbs up, everyone.

Now, a bit about myself. I am Michael, 15 years old and very interested about everything related to computers, science, tennis and hockey. I live in The Netherlands: a very small country which lies between the United Kingdom and Germany. And that is about it... I am not very good in writing about myself.

I decided to join WiiHacks today because I really want to help people and write guides for whatever I know something about. I will also donate now and then to help the site and show my appreciation to the administrator and moderators. I know the basics about Wii hacking, and I am very excited to learn about everything else there is to know. I am glad to join the community.

See you all around the forums,

Hello Michael and welcome to the WiiHacks community. Glad to hear you are enjoying our site. You have joined the world’s largest Wii modding and forum community. You will find everything you need to know about your Wii and more on this site. Using ourSite Index will help you to access the useful information and resources available on our site.

The WiiHacks membership is a diverse and global community. To ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all, please make sure you read and follow theRules of this site as they are indeed enforced here. There are a number ofTutorials and Guides available to assist you with your Wii-related issues. If you have an interest in hard-modding or your Wii already has a chip, check out theModchip Forum. Many of our new members find the tutorials for softmoddingthe Wii particularly useful:

If you will be using an external USB hard disk drive (HDD) to load and play backups of your Wii games after softmodding your Wii, a guide for multiple partitions using the WBFS (Wii Backup File System) format for Wii games is HERE. Another HDD guide for those who prefer a single FAT32-formatted partition is HERE.

Members are strongly encouraged to use the forum site search function. Most new member questions can be answered by using the search function correctly. A guide that might be helpful in optimally using the search function is HERE. While the staff and members of this community are willing to help you, some effort on your part to read, research, and follow the rules is expected. To get the best response to your question(s), post in the correct forum areas. Post questions pertaining to a guide in its associated thread, please. Do not post questions in your introduction thread. Inappropriate posting (wrong area, double posting, and bumping threads in < 24hours) could cause your posting privileges to be revoked or you might even be banned. If, after looking at the tutorials and trying to search, you are still lost or just want to post a very basic type of question, try your luck in theNewbie discussions forum.
