Thread: Virtual Console NTSC wads (PAL Wii)

  1. #1

Question Virtual Console NTSC wads (PAL Wii)

I've got quite a few backups of Official NTSC-U Virtual Console wads. But my Wii is PAL, with 4.3E firmware, softmodded.

I am aware of using WAD Manager to Install the wads, But is this possible knowing that the wads are NTSC-U? How do I stand with regards to compatibility and potential bricking?

Would I have to manually change the region of the wads? or will they run in native NTSC when launched?

If someone with a good understanding could offer some assistance that would be marvellous.

Sorry, but unless you bought those games (in which case they would be the correct region), we can't help. WiiHacks does not support piracy.

Use priiiloader and enable the hack for region free channels. I have not tried installing an out of region wad, but it sounds like it would work if you have this hack enabled. Priiloader can also provide basic brick protection.
