Free Wii Memory !
I wonder how can I free the memory of wii without loosing any saved data or channels.
The memory of my wii contains only 4 channels (except the basics), which are the homebrew channel, the USB Loader GX, the Nintendo channel and the Photo channel. I have moved 10 channels in the SD card. After all these moves, I have 545 Blocks Open in the internal memory.
1) Can I move all the saved data from Wii to SD Card with only one move? There are 145 different games so it's a bit difficult to move each seperate game in the SD card. In this case, will it cause any malfunction when I want to play a game? (I read in nintendo site that the saved data must be in wii memory when I play a game and not in the SD card).
2)There are a lot of empty squares in the main screen of wii. Is there a way to create shortcuts from games in the USB Loader GX ?

1) Moving save games the Nintendo way is a pain in the butt! I wish it could launch saves off of the SD. There is no way to batch move them to my knowledge...Only one at a time. My compromise is to leave my kids saves in the internal memory seeing as how they never know they want to play and could play any of their games at any given time; Then I move my saves back and forth seeing as how I usually know what I want to play. Of course there are crossovers like NSMB that always stay in the memory. There are programs like Savegame Manager or SaveGame Manager GX but I have no personal experience using either so I couldn't tell you their capabilities. I haven't had any errors moving data back and forth.

I eliminated all the no-esential stuff, channels especially. That nintendo channel takes a ridiculous amount of space, if you don't use it that much i recommend getting rid of it.
Thank you for your answers! I moved the nintendo channel to SD and I started to create shortcuts
When I play a downloaded game that is been stored in the SD card, there is an "SD Card Menu Data" square in the wii's memory which I can only erase. Is it safe, or I will lose the saved data of the game?
When you select a save file it shows a number right next to its name, that is the amount of blocks it takes in the wii. If it takes less than five there is no need to erase it.
This square in under the menu of Wii/channels and it has the same number of blocks as the game (channel) in the sd card (ex. 296 blocs for the game UNO)!
