Accidental Super Mario Galaxy 2 Update, USB Loader GX No Longer Works

Hey everyone. I've searched as best as I could but I still couldn't find a solution to my problem, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Any advice/instructions/links are much appreciated.

    I followed this guide:

a few weeks ago to mod my Wii. I hadn't updated my Wii in a while, so I was at a 3.3 or 3.4 (I don't remember exactly cause it didn't seem to matter). The guide worked perfectly and I could play my backups from USB external hard drive, which is all I really wanted to do.

Flash forward to a couple days ago. My roommate bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 and played it in my Wii, and updated it when the game asked him to since he didn't know any better. I'm now at 4.2u and USB Loader GX no longer works. The Homebrew Channel still shows up on my screen and will load and show all my applications and such. However, when I try to run USB Loader GX I get a message that says I need an unstubbed cIOS 222 or 249 v9+.

After searching online for a bit I found out a few things but I'm still confused. Am I right in assuming these stubbed cIOSs are basically placeholders that Nintendo put on my system to prevent homebrew? I heard from some people that I need to delete those cIOSs and then install them again for USB Loader GX to work again. Is this the right idea? And if so, how do I do it?

I've tried running both WAD Manager and AnyTitle Deleter but I haven't had any luck with them. WAD Manager freezes when I try to select anything (which it didn't do before the Nintendo update) and Anytitle Deleter gives me an error whenever I try to delete something.

I'm at a loss of what to do, as I couldn't really find anyone else online who has been in this same situation (homebrew worked, then the Nintendo update messed it up). Would it be easier to go back to my NAND backup and just follow the guide again? And if that's the case, if anyone could instruct me on how to do that I'd be forever grateful.

Thanks to anyone who looks at this and helps. Again, I am pretty new to this stuff so anything is appreciated.

Follow the Softmod for ANY 4.2 Wii by shadowsonic2 or the Softmod for ANY Wii by Mauifrog. No need to remove anything. This time install priiloader and enable block online and disc updates.

Both can be found in the guides section.
    Damn I suck!!!!
