usb laoder not working after running pimp my wii program...
I just rant he latest pimp my ride program and update ios on my wii, and after doing so when I load up the usb loader from the wii menu like normal and then click a game in the list that resides on my usb harddrive the wii will want to look up and start up from the dvd drive. The blue light lights on the dvd drive and then it basically freezes up the usb loader menu and have to shutdown the wii.
Anyone know a fix? thanks

I saw this and supposely it fix his issue, I dont get how do I go about installing the r921.dol file?
"Well I feel like an idiot. I've worked out the problem (or rather C.S.I's reply is the electricity that powered the dim little lightbulb in my head). I was using the r849 .dol for USBLoaderGX which was bundled with the installer. As I used the windows laptop downstairs with the Wii I was using r849 without thinking. I've just nabbed the latest r921.dol from the google code site and everything is as pleased as punch now.
With regards to Priiloader, I currently have Preloader 0.30 and can load it holding down eject+reset when starting the Wii. It's loaded on IOS60. Would it be a good idea to install Priiloader instead or will the now unsupported Preloader still do the job? If yes, is there anything I should be aware of when replacing one with the other.
I can't thank you enough for your help C.S.I. My twin sister is also very grateful, she plays it more then I do (the addict!) "

Your preloader should do fine. You can install priiloader v.04 if you would like, I dont support v.05 yet though as it has a couple bugs. Check Here
Ok sorry for the other thread I started so I'll continue here...
So I want to say thanks to naufrog I think thats his name he told me to rerun a softmod guide again, and yes it did get my wii back running before I ran that pimp my wii program last night.
Now at the end of this guide I used :
It says for optional I can install this hermes stuff here :
But I notice that hermes installer is already on my sd card from the sd pack files I downloaded in the beginning of the first link guide above. Should I run that installer on the sd card or follow the hermes link? Thanks
I would follow the link to Hermes as I Know it is up to date.
