Thread: Can't get past health screen.

    Can't get past health screen.

I've been trying to update my Wii using the following guide.

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-softmod.html

I got to after step 5 and after that my WAD manager, I restarted my wii because of this. After this, I'm unable to go past the health screen when loading the regular system menu.

I can still use boot mii, priiloader, and the homebrew channel. I tried putting it into maintenance mode but that didn't do anything.

Sounds like a Priiloader brick. I'm guessing that you didn't install the patched IOS60. Have a look here.

Ok, I tried loading the dop-mii from there.

Once I get into the dop-mii program, my wiimotes can't connect anymore with the system. Any suggestions?

Do you have a GC controller?

Also, if you have any question following a guide, you should ask in that thread. It's just easier that way.

    Doesn't go past health screen

    Any ideas guys?

Maybe you accidentally enabled the freeze at health screen hack on priiloader.

I've checked that multiple times and that's not it.

    What wads did you install?

I don't have anything installed out of the ordinary/didn't install anything out of the ordinary.

You mentioned wad manager; that's why mauifrog had asked you what wad you had installed (the implication being, you installed one since you mentioned it).
