    What loader to go?

Hey guys a while ago, i did a bit of soft modding and i bricked my wii I bought a new wii a while ago and i think its one of the ones that wont read burnt disks, the seriel is LAH1167478, is the wode a good option, i need an easy to use interface, im in australia and on 4.2E.

Also what is the fastest rive to read wii disks, i have a gdr-8162b and i want to know if there are any faster drives.

if i was in you situation i would softmod using the link in my signature then use usb loader gx or cfg loader to load all your games from a hdd

If your wii can't read discs, a wode wouldn't help you any more than a softmod would. With a softmod you can load via a hard drive without the need for a chip. USB loading is also 2X faster than disc loading btw.

softmod is the way to go with usb harddrive loading.

If you follow the guides on USB HDD loading you won't brick.

This is the Hardmod section, if you do not intend to use a hardmod then do not continue to post here (same for all the people giving advice about softmods).
    Damn I suck!!!!

This fail thread needs closed anyway. Noone seems to know what a usb hdd hardmod is, they think it is adding a hardrive softmod to a wii console that has a disk-based modchip.
