Thread: Program to print DVD case cover art?

  1. #1

Thumbs up Program to print DVD case cover art?

Can anyone help me locate a free cover art print program? I keep trying to print the cover art, but it is too big or too small. I'd like to load the image in a program that will size it correctly and then just click print...

At this page - Cdcovers.cc / World's Largest CD Covers and DVD Covers Album Art Archive on the top right is a link to coverXP. It has loads of different case sizes for cover EG. Dvd Keepcase, CD Jewel case and slim cases.

You can use seperate front and back covers or 1 full cover picture.

I've tried Undercoverxp and I dont think it's as good as CoverXP, not as easy to use, but thats just my opinion.

CoverXP is free, it never needs registering, or you can find the code somewhere on the internet.

Also if you want a full blown label editor for case and disk labels then Acoustica Labeller is excellent.

What's weird is coverxp works like a charm at work (windows xp) but on my home machine (windows vista) it cuts off part of the cover edge. This may also be because of my printer.

I have yet to find a good program for macbook.

Whats the reason for using a program like cover xp? if you know the dimensions of your dvd case couldn't you just print it just as easily?

    The reasons I chose to:
    1. Ease
    2. Creates a small faded line as a cutting guide for covers heavy in white edges
    3. Ability to drag, drop, and click print when you need to do 20+ in a row for a friend

Those are the main reason I use it.

It depends on how you want to print the cover.

With cover XP you just drag your JPG file into the box and click print.

I keep all my disks in plastic sleves so I need to scale down the printing, cover XP has built-in templates to do this, just select the template and print. You can print from covers that are 1 JPG or 2 JPS's when you get front/back combinations.

    Full DVD keepcase

    Sleeve or CD jewel case.

Even CD labels or printable disks.
