    Format USB Mass Storage

a friend of mine gave his extra 80G Hard Drive partition (40/40)

I bought an accessory so i can use it as an External HD.

i just perform SoftMpd to my Wii and I want to use the HD storage for my WII.

I am a newbie. downloaded some tools here to format the HD but i just want to make sure that i am using the right tool so it won't mess the HD.

I already downloaded some torrent games for wii

    - How can i format my HD so that WII can read it?
    - What do i need to download for my computer and HD to rea the games
    - How to transfer the torrnt games on HD? do i need some convertion tools?

    thanks in advance
