    Because I use wiiflow to play monster Hunter 3 and I am using the 2nd slot for the keyboard(So i can chat while online )

    Can it damage ur wii???

    I don't know if everybody thinks the way I think, but I believe that if you use a USB HDD that gets its power from the USB port, then you may have a chance to overheat your Wii. Try using a USB HDD that has an external power source.

    I am using a flashdisk(8gb)
    Do you think it will overheat too??

    Flash disks don't draw as much power from the Wii and because there aren't any moving parts they also won't contribute much to the heating of the Wii area. I have my Wii and powered HDDs in an open shelf entertainment unit and it can get quite warm. I use a fan. A flash drive will be fine with regard to power and heat.
