    lego batman the video game

i was playing lego batman with my cousin and we were starting episode 3 (which is the last episode in the game), when the game stopped working. whenever you start a level, a short cutscene plays. well the cutscene was about to end, when the screen turned black and a message appeared saying "game disc could not be read" or something like that. i think i might have downloaded a shorter version of the game because i tried taking the disc and putting it back multiple times, and the same thing happened. then i used this disc cleaning solution called scratch-out. that only made it worse, and neogamma couldnt even read the disc. so my question is: was this problem first a hardware or software issue?

you intended your downloaded file is corrupted, so download it again? make sure you don't get the same release.
maybe a friend has a working game with which you can test it again

to your question, not possible to tell with that info

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

you could also try the game on a usb drive.
At least then you could rule out a corrupted download and verify a burn problem with the disc.
