    HI IM NEW & TRyING to learn about this stuff that i have no idea about like what the homebrew channel what does it do &WHATS A MOD CHIP &WHAT HAPPENS IF U GET A WII system update with it ?

    I think you can get your point across without using CAPTIAL LETTERSSSS!!!!. Ok but the homebrew channel is nothing more then a software exploit that lets you run third party apps. on your Wii. A modchip is obviously a chip that allows your system to read backup games. All updates at the moment only affect homebrew, modchips are safe.
