    themes for wii 4.2u

I was looking at youtube videos and I ran into some themes I would love to get on my wii. I own a 4.2u wii softmodded is it possible to do this on this firmware. I own the new black wii with drive I cant play back ups with have to play backups with usb drive.anyone know of a guide that works for what I want please help me if you would thank you.

thank you for all your advice. I did find the tutorial and came back here to post that i found it should of looked harder. anyways thank you for your advice. I am a total geek and will be hard for me to stay away from wanting to do the themes. but I need to look at the brighter side. I don't have enough money to replace if its unrecoverable. I leave alone thanks everyone.

Listen, I know themes look cool and you think that you have to have an awesome custom System Menu. Take it from me, if you get a hold of a wrong theme or a badly constructed theme your wii could become a very nice, expensive and black door stop. I learned that having priiloader is not enough when coming to installing themes. If I didn't have bootmii as boot2 I would have a door stop myself. I have had Priiloader removed/corrupted on my wii on more than one occasion and I had to rely on bootmii to save my system. YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT ABILITY SINCE YOU HAVE A NEW WII AND YOU INSTALLED BOOTMII AS AN IOS AND NOT BOOT2!! If you screw up your done.

    You have been warned.

Take krafters advice. No bootmii/boot2....stay away from themes.

If you decide to still do it make sure you test them with SNEEK first.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I avoid them at all costs, having only priiloader and bootmii as an ios. The risk as compared to having a cool looking screen for a few seconds isn't worth it.

Exactly. Just be happy where your consoles at. I just takes one mistake to ruin everything. If you do decide to continue with it, good luck!

Messed about with themes, lucky i didn't brick as just went for it and guess what? Back to original theme. Customize your loaders and leave the wii be.

If you want to make your wii appear "customised" I would suggest loading a Pre Boot screen. They work great, easy to do, and make your wii unique to you.
Search the tutorial section for it, I believe wiimaster4eva posted it.
