Thread: Can I use glue/epoxy to hold my wires in place?

    Can I use glue/epoxy to hold my wires in place?

    They are soldered already, but I want to make sure the connections don't come loose when I put the Wii together or if it were to get banged or dropped.

    Also, I've verified the chip works so its safe to put something permanent on it.

    I typically use double-sided tape to hold down the wires. You may try using liquid electrical tape. I have done that on some installs. Not only does it insulate, but it isn't a pain to remove if you have to for some odd reason.

    Thanks for the replies. I bought some liquid tape this morning and it worked perfectly. Wii is all back together and working great.
