My problem is that when following a guide I installed a patched ios 60 but now its causing my wii to be unable to run any dols, whether through the HBC or any other method. I've been trying to use this guide "http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-issues-only/26845-fully-brick-bootmii-boot2-installed-but-no-nand-backup-solution-here.html" to install a different ios 60 but when I use it I get the following text on a flickering screen:
"cBoot2 DOL Loader v16
IOS version 36 with [can't read the number because of screen flicker but I can find it out another way if necessary]
IOS successfully loaded."
Ive bricked my wii before and last time I used dop wii to fix IOS 60 but this time I can't access my system menu and I'm just getting a black screen after I tried to update.
Any help is appreciated, all I really need is a method to install over IOS 60 that isn't based on using dols.
Also I got system menu 4.1u if it helps. Thanks again to anyone who has any advice .
Ok I've tried it again but with the same result, doesn't seem like I'm going to be lucky enough for such an easy solution :\
Thanks for the quick reply , any other ideas?
If you have bootmii as boot2, you can follow the new guide I just wrote:
Its a "nuke it all and start again" option, but it works and you have nothing to lose, as you backup your current Wii's state before you start, so you can always return to how the Wii is now.
Ok I'll give it a shot then, but be warned should this work you may become my new idol and be subject to my rampant praise
Ok, one weekend later and I've got my wii completely fixed and running a new softmod . I only just posted what seemed like a new and almost unfixable way to break my wii and you immediately post a perfect solution, thanks for everything.
