Is there a place where I can seek an audience with the forum staff/mods. I can't PM them because i'm not a donator (or a hot girl).
#1 I wondered why nobody besides the mods had a high post count. Then I realized that the environment wasn't conducive to long term users. Why? Simple. You don't allow anyone to link to anyone's tutorials but your own. Once they follow your tutorial, there is nothing else for them to do here. This does not work because some of the best guides are not here (yours are good too). You may have a variety, but the internet has more. It always will. Perhaps you should allow this. I am wondering why don't you allow this?
#2 I wondered why is there no user participation. When I go to a thread, the only people there talking are mods. 100% of the time, the mods have answered the question. In these cases that is a sign of a well staffed forum. Congrats on that. Apparently, there is more than meets the eye here. When I tried to help someone out (he was asking how to run NTSC games on a PAL wii) the answering mod quoted the person asking the question and replied "Use the force." I quoted him then said that he didn't help the person asking the question and then quoted the person asking the question and said that I did not believe that there was a way other than to change his system region. When the next respondent (a mod whodathunk) responded I looked at the thread and my post was gone. I wonder what justifiable reason you have for this?
1. We have our own guides and have no desire to analyze the contents of all the other ones on the internet.
2. that question has been asked more than the question of why are we here and what is our purpose. And yes he had to use the force region option in the loader. Simple as that and is in countless threads all over the forum and kinda common sense if you look in the options menu of the loader and see region options (knowing you are using a backup that is not your region) And your reply was to change the region of the whole wii Lol.
Also I was a new member at one time as well, I just gave the correct answers. I was able to solve a problem by reading threads and couldn't believe the ineptitude of the questions being asked, so I started asking wheather a moderator answered or not.

I'm not going to attempt to answer your questions but, I am not a mod and I feel I am pretty active in helping users. I know several other non-staff that are very helpful and active in the forums as well.
Damn I suck!!!!
#1 how can WiiHacks staff support guide unknown to them? If you follow a guide from another website, then get your support there.
#2 I'll leave this one for someone else to reply to, I don't operate like that.
As far as mods answering a ton of questions, to be perfectly honest I don't see much difference in their posting percentages now vs. a time when they were not mods, concerning those I've been around long enough to know before promotion. We all started somewhere and just had a desire to contribute here. That aside, there are plenty of opportunities to contribute here and I don't see the legitimacy of this complaint. Sure we've got a lot of competition for who can answer the fastest sometimes, but that's just good fun and betters the community as a whole.
Myself, as a regular member when I felt like I had nowhere to post because others were more on top of their game than I, I just took a few hours and wrote up a guide or tutorial on something that I felt the site was lacking and submitted it for review. Try that.

#1 And why do you have to anylyze all the guides? You appearently don't anylyze the user submitted ones. If I took my online guide not from wiihacks and posted it there and then linked to it, I would be OK amirite.
#2 Fantastic, you were a noob once! What in tarnation does that have to do with deleting my post just because i'm wrong. If you had said "Hey oldtopman thats wrong just use..." or communicated with me "We here at wiihacks have deleted your post because..." then fine, that's the way you roll. But [d]deleting[/d] making posts (esp. mine) disappear without notice of any kind is not right. I would have blamed it on a false memory except that I subscribed to the thread when I posted.

1. I don't have to analyze any guide, they have been here longer than I have. Users who submitt guides usually support them along with others who choose to.
2. Your suggestion was so silly, It didn't need a comment. Suggesting tochange the region of the wii, when forcing the region in the loader is all that was necessary. We do moderate posts that someone might foolishly follow and your definitely qualified.
