    Question burning Wii isos to an SD card

    Any burner works, just like on a DVD-R,

    Not very efficient but it can be done. You are better off to get a usb drive if you can.

    A USB memory stick would be better than a SD card, better compatibility too. But like Krafter said, USb HDD is the way to go.

    I think I understand your question now and the answer is no. Do a search for WBFS Manager or Wii Backup Manager. You have to use one of those to place ISO on a SD card, thumb drive or USB drive.
