    Help! stuck on homebrew

I have done three wiis all successful!but I cant find even a wad manager to work with homebrew channel,I put all files in the sd card with many different hack packs and there is nothing when I open homebrew no matter where I put the files.I'm running a 4.1u,and would like to downgrade to 3.1u.Also,what kinda cios do I need for this version?I don't have the wii connected to the internet or a copy of twilight princess.but should have both soon!

    1. Downgrading is not recommended.
    2. If you were following a softmod guide, the files would be in the right place.
    3. When did you mod a wii? Twillight hack is ancient.

Look at the guide narse posted. Internet is only needed for the safe updater, you are on 4.1 so you need not bother with doing that part.

I take you are talking about this step.
    1. INSTALL BOOTMII AND THE HOMEBREW CHANNEL

a). Put all the files from ‘copy to sd card.rar’ onto the root of the SD Card. It should look like this when done.

b). Insert the SD card into Wii.

c). Go to Wii Options, then go to Data Management > Channels > SD Card, then you will get a message saying "Load boot.elf?" , select 'Yes' and the Hackmii installer will run.

d). Install Bootmii as boot2 if you can, If not then install it as an IOS then go back and install the Homebrew Channel.

Ok I think I know what mistake you are making in your thought process.
You think that by having an earlier system menu version or using an older exploit will allow for boot2. This is not true it was only available in earlier versions of the wii and if you can only install as an ios, there is no way to change that.
