Uh, neogamma works just fine, using it right now for same thing.
I have a 4.2 system and I recently used the following tutorial to hack my Wii: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html
The problem is the usb loader it gives you doesn't allow backup games to run of an SD card, only off usb external hard drives. I searched for a while but couldn't find one specifically for 4.2 systems that actually worked. Can someone steer me towards an SD loader program that has clear instructions on installation?
I use wii flow mainly but I know that has an option in the settings to select what to load from like different partitions on the hdd, not sure if it has a sd option but worth a go.
is it formatted to the WBFS format and are the games in WBFS if not then this is your problem
I used wbfs manager 3.0 to formatt my SD card and then used it to scrubb and move an iso onto the sd card. the game showed up on neogamma but when i tried to load it i got an error message, saying it had lost the wbfs connection. Than, when I tried again, the game did not show up at all. Any ideas what the porblem is?
nope not unless it is a kingston sd card, they don't seem to work for anything.
I know you said you said you are not sure what the problem is, but maybe you cna help me out if i give more details. I am using a Transcend 16gb sdhc card. I first tried after formatting the card in fat32 and tried anotehr time in ntfs. I then formatted the card using wbfs. Sometimes neogamma does not detect any games and sometimes it takes 5 or 10 tries to find a game on the card. Also somtimes when i load the game it detects it seems to load the game, but then goes to a black screen that says there has been an error with the game and i have to restart. Is it possible that i softmodded wrong and is there a way to check if i did? Is there any problem with transcend cards? I really appreciate any hel you can give me. thanks.
Ok, I finally got a hold of the flash drive and the games do load off the flash drive. I guess the problem was with the sd card i bought. I am gonna return it. thanks for your help.
As OP has resolved his issue, thread closed --- glad you got it sorted.
