[RESOLVED] WAD Installer v2.1 unsyncs Wiimote and kills USB loader
I recently installed the Homebrew channel and WiiFlow on my 4.2U Wii and it worked perfectly. However, today I went to install a Pokemon Snap wad file and found that my WAD Manager v1.5 gave an error when I tried to install it. I figured that there was just a problem with the WAD Manager since my cIOS Installer that came with it was out of date (so the manager could be out of date as well) and went to find a new one.
I got WAD Installer v2.1 by Waninkoko and ran it, but it automatically installed ALL of the WADs in my wad folder in my SD card, including the ones I was told to uninstall during the Homebrew Channels installation (IOS 222, 223, 249, and 250).
Now when I try to run the Homebrew Channel or any of its apps, including WiiFlow, my Wiimote unsyncs and I can't do anything. How do I fix this? x__x;;
- DOP-IOS v8
- cIOSXr19 Installer
- WAD-Manager v1.5
- WAD-Installer v2.1
A forced installation of IOS222-64-v65280.wad, IOS223-64-v65280.wad, IOS249-64-v65280.wad, and IOS250-54-v65280.wad unsyncs my wiimote when WAD-Manager or the cIOS Installer is run.

Wad manager 1.6 is available here, but that's now more a moot point with your other issues.

Can you run a sys check
D/L sys check (look below)
Put syscheck folder in apps folder sd://apps/syscheck
Go to HB and run Sys Check
This will save a csv file on the root of your sd card
Open that in word or alternative txt editor
Copy and paste contents here
Fixed it! I reformatted my SD card and basically re-hacked the Wii and it worked perfectly. If anyone else runs into this problem, back up and clear the files on your SD card and basically redo everything.
As OP has resolved his issue, thread closed --- glad you got it sorted.
